I make exhibitions and publications about visual, spatial, and architectural histories of accumulation across sites of serial, competing, and ongoing empire. I look at new hegemonies and old liberalisms in cultural myths of hybridity and fluidity. I am curious about a radical politics of scale–and hopeful about long distances and slow reactions. I have been thinking about the fear of ekphrasis.
